Westborough, Let's Read Together!
Join us for the FIRST EVER Westborough town-wide reading project, Westborough Reads Together! The program will run from November 2011 - April 2012 and will feature reading, book discussions, a film festival, scavenger hunt, a visit from the author, and lots more. 
The book we'll read together is Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A.S. King. It is recommended for high school students and adults. You can learn more about the book and the author here:

January-April: Book Discussions schedule below. If you'd like to host a discussion, or if your book club would like to discuss the book, let us know!

March: "Where in Westborough is Vera Dietz?" scavenger hunt
April 10: Author visit! A.S. King will visit Westborough High School during the day and will do a public program and book signing at Tatnuck Books in the evening.
BOOK DISCUSSIONS
We are looking for book discussion hosts, or for existing book clubs to join in the fun. Training will be provided through a workshop, and all hosts will be paired with a co-facilitator if they wish. ABOUT THE PROJECT
Westborough Reads Together is a community-wide collaborative project organized by staff from the Westborough Public Library, Westborough Public Schools' Libraries, Westborough Youth and Family Services, Westborough TV, and the public. The program is made possible through support from the Friends of the Westborough Public Library, the Westborough Civic Club, Farrell Family Foundation, Tatnuck Bookseller, and the Community Advocate.
